Beira Baixa is the perfect place to visit, quietly enjoy the simplicity, true and pure Portugal. As you see on the map is not on the seaside (coast), but it has a fascinating nature. It is the region with the highest mountains. 'Serra da Estrela' (Portugal). On the eastern side of the Spanish border.

Beira Baixa has many natural reservation, such as the 'Serra da Estrela' and 'Serra Malcata' (where 'Lynx' is) and connected to “Sierra de Gata' (is a nature reserve in Extremadura, Spain). It’s a paradise for nature lovers and hiking.

People who has a problem with respiratory disease (asthma) will notice the difference, cause the air is pure and clean.

Castelo Branco has a wide range of attraction with its beautiful garden and enjoy refreshing beverages on a terrace in the center. Or the one who like to swim, there’s a large open swimming pool(3000 sq m).

Monsanto is the most Portuegese village of Portugal, the deep roots intact, the portuegese culture, the village is high on the flank of Graniteville. Its difficult to climb to the castle but it’s worthy, is one of the most beautiful point on the region.

Guarda is located at the end of Serra da Estrela mountain, the highest town in Portugal (1050m). It has the strongest fortress battle against Leon.

Serra da Estrela is with the highest peak (The TORRE; 2000m high) with its beautiful waterfalls, mountain villages, beautiful walking areas, and ski area in winter, etc...

Fatima you can also visit in few hours.
Coimbra is one of the oldest university that existing operation in the world.

If you like to visit Extremadura (Spain) is possible coz is near to the border.

For the people who like, Portugal has a very good wine and low price.
Casa da Colina and Casa do Ferrador is easy to reach, by airplane with a low cost for a ticket.
